This cozy countryside home sits in the heart of Tuscany, in Montalcino area, Val d´ Orcia, a famous Unesco Heritage Site. Part of a bigger estate of organic farming, the house benefits from total privacy. Renewed in 2019, the property consists of two wings - the north and the south ones - and  an guest house, so it is perfect for 3 families or groups of friends. It sleeps 18 people in 9 comfortable bedrooms. The place is ideal for a vacation away from it all or for a yoga retreat though quite close to the main Tuscany landmarks including Siena and Florence. The villa features AC, heating, WIFI, a dining area for 20 and a yoga room.

North wing

This part of the house is distributed over 2 floors. The ground floor is home to a living room, a dining room and a kitchen. The first floor enjoys 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. In total, there are 3 king-size beds and two single beds. All the bathrooms come with showers. The kitchen features a fridge freezer, a toaster, a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave, a coffee maker, an ice maker, cutlery and tableware. The entertainment facilities of the house include a DVD player, a TV, books, board games for children and a music library.

South wing

Further on, the other wing enjoys 3 more bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. One has a king-size bed, another one enjoys a queen-size bed, while the third one comes with twin beds. Also, there is a living room with a wood fireplace and a large kitchen. There is a guest WC on the ground floor, 2 bathrooms have showers, the last one enjoys a bathtub with a shower faucet.

Guest House

Finally, this part of the property also comprises of 2 floors. The ground floor houses a living room with a fireplace and a double bedroom with a bathroom. It has a queen-size bed that can be laid out as twins upon request. The latter room boasts lovely and serene olive grove views. The upper floor is a loft that has a master bedroom with a bathroom. It comes with a queen-size bed. Both bathrooms are equipped with showers.

Outdoors

At the centre of the property garden, there is a private swimming pool with Roman steps and a sunbathing area. Also, there is a table tennis and a basketball hoop. Right in front of the north wing, there is an al-fresco dining area with 2 BBQs. The property is part of a bigger family estate that has been producing wine, cereals and olive oil for 5 generations. Wine tasting can be arranged upon request with a fee. The garden is private to the villa.

This traditional Tuscany house for rent sits within about 20 minutes´ drive from Montalcino. Siena, in its turn, is about 43 minutes away. Benefiting from total privacy, the house is about 6 minutes drive to the first restaurant and about 9 minutes´ drive to a grocery shop. Further on, for more facilities, you shall head towards Montepulciano and, if no, to Siena.
For more Tuscany travelling around, Arezzo is about 1 h 15 minutes´ drive away. The nearest airport is the Florence airport that can be reached in about 1 h 33 minutes.

Additional Information

Dagelijkse Schoonmaak:

Maid services for 4 h daily from 09:00 to 13:00 from Monday to Friday are included. Please, note it is NOT a deep cleaning of the villa, as 4 hours would not be enough.

Belastingen:

All the taxes except for the Tourist Tax are included Tourist tax shall be paid on the spot at arrival (1 EUR per person and night for maximum nights).

Huur kosten:

Water, electricity and Internet are included.
The ground floor has no AC neither heating but in case of cold season booking gas heating could be used. Heating is NOT included and shall be paid apart, if applicable.

Wekelijkse schoonmaak:

Weekly cleaning and change of bedlinen and towels on Saturday is included for stay of more than 1 week.

Beddengoed en Handdoeken:

Pool towels are included.

Laatste Schoonmaak:

Final cleaning is included.

Anderen:

Wine tasting in the estate cellar (another building) can be arrange upon request with a fee.

Check in/out policy

Check-in after 15:00.
Check-out before 10:30.
Changeover day in summer is Saturday.
All other periods are flexible.

Payment Policy

In order to book the property, you shall pay a reservation deposit of 50%.
The balance together shall be paid no later than 2 month before arrival. 
The Security deposit shall be left in cash at arrival.

Cancellation Policy

In case of cancellation more than 2 month before arrival, 15% of the rent is non refundable.
In case of cancellation less than 2 months but more than 45 days before arrival, 65% of the total rent will be retained.
In case of cancellation less than 45 days before arrival, the total rent will be retained.
